What Can You Expect

PART 1 ‘Talk: Hallyu – What’s Next’ 7pm – 8pm

“Hallyu: The increase in international interest in South Korea and its popular culture, represented by the global success of South Korean music, film, TV, fashion, and food.” In 2021, the Korean word ‘Hallyu’ was added to the Oxford English Dictionary (OED) with the statement from OED that “we are all riding the crest of the Korean wave”.

‘Talk: Hallyu – What’s Next’ explores the influence of Hallyu from cultural, economic, social, and political lenses. Experts from different industries will discuss their definition of Hallyu, its success cases, ripple effect, and sustainability.

  • MINGLE with next-gen from all different sectors, industries, and backgrounds
