Come and join Daryl Stenvoll-Wells and learn about some of the Korean artists representing the country’s contemporary art scene on the world stage. You will focus on the work of modern master Elaine Ildan Choi, whose fascinating life set the stage for a wide ranging and acclaimed career as a painter, sculptor and installation artist. Then you’ll experiment with her unique ink drawing technique for depicting geological forms, integrating traditional Korean brushwork with our own personal mark-making.
