Studio EJ is a design studio based in Seoul, Korea, established in 2013 by EunJi Pak(EJ). EJ’s exploration on design is focused on relationships/ interaction between space, objects and human perception, having FRESH perspectives on ordinary things.
JIWONXKIM creates tightly hand-tufted carpets in unconventional shapes, made of natural wool dyed in various colors.
Her first project, Salamandrian, uses wool, a medium commonly associated with warmth, to depict organisms with cold and sleek textures living near water.
Each work of JIWONXKIM is hand-crafted in limited quantites.
“STORI” connotes the unique story by different cultural crossover in the designer’s pocket.
Korean motifs are carefully filtered by designer’s borderless creative mind to the exquisite handbags that comes out as utilize a blend of skills craftsmanship with Korean traditional materials and modern function.
