- Han Collection’s exhibition of colonial era posters and prints runs from 6th to 28th January.
- The UK Korean Artists Association has a two week exhibition, i, kid, at the KCC, 16 – 28 January. The exhibition opens with a performance on 16 January.
- The London Art Fair runs from 18th to 22nd January.
Screenings
- A documentary on the subject of Dennis Rodman’s DPRK basketball diplomacy is screening at Picturehouse Central on 1 and 5 January. Or you can rent it on iTunes.
- A new Sewol documentary is screening at Birkbeck on 9 January.

- Block B’s ZICO is performing at KOKO on 5 January in a sold-out gig.
- PUST’s all-day seminar on Practical Engagement with DPR Korea is in Cambridge on 7 January.
- SOAS’s first seminars of the new year are Media and Creative Industries in Korea, UK and France: Transnational Approaches (19 Jan) and The First Hot War of the Cold War (27 Jan)
- The regular Sewol silent protest is on 14 Jan.
- KCC-sponsored classes in calligraphy, traditional dance, cookery and jogakpo start at the Kingston Adult Education Centre this month.
- There’s a separate season of jogakpo classes at the Sunbury Embroidery Gallery in January and February
