The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), Preston, UK, is delighted to host a the K-Drama and Korean TV Symposium, which is devoted to scholarship on South Korean TV dramas and other TV formats. The symposium features speakers from across Europe, South Korea and the USA. The panels address the follwoing topics: Globalising/Localising K-Drama; Magic Realism & Gothic in K-Drama; Narrative Universe & Time in K-Drama; Genres in K-Drama; K-Drama Distribution & Industry; and Themes & Tropes in K-Drama. The symposium ends with a screening of Snowy Road (2015) with a Q&A with noted K-Drama and film director, Na Jeong Lee.
