The Korean War Talks: from Pusan to the Imjin via Pyongyang with The Glosters

To mark the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of the Imjin River, Lt Col Rob Dixon OBE will be giving two talks about the Gloucestershire Regiment’s involvement. A restricted number of seats will be available in the Long Room of the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum, and the event will be live streamed via Zoom.

Saturday 3 July 2021, 6:00PM – 7:00PM

The first talk will cover the origins of the War, the UN advance to the Chinese border, the Battle for Hill 327, and the advance to the Imjin position.

Saturday 31 July 2021, 6:00PM – 7:00PM

The second of the two talks will cover the Battle, the Reformation of the Glosters, and the Prisoners of War.
