Many of you might have this notice in your email inbox direct from the KCC, but for the record here are details of an exhibition tour tomorrow:
Gallery Tour of the Exhibition Inspired by Nature, the Traditional Cosmetics of Korea at the Korean Cultural Centre UK
We are currently presenting Inspired by Nature, the Traditional Cosmetics of Korea, an exhibition featuring 150 traditional makeup tools and accessories from the largest collection of artifacts related to the history of Korean cosmetics and beauty culture. Covering all elements of the makeup routines of Traditional Korea, this exhibition offers a rare and intimate glimpse into traditional Korean life.
Our curator is pleased to invite you for the gallery tour at 16:30, 14 March 2013.
Furthermore, the natural ingredients used to produce traditional cosmetics will be introduced as part of the Exhibition’s public workshop programme, mixing your own perfumes to take home, plus an opportunity to colour your finger nails using Garden Balsam flower (봉숭아 물들이기).
Places are limited so please reserve your position on the tour by emailing [email protected] or by phone 020 7004 2600
