Cambridge University Korean Society presents the 2014 Ra Jong-Yil Lecture, “The Transformation of Korea and the Future of East Asia”, given by MP Chung Woo-taek. A former minister, governor, and three-time Member of Parliament, Dr Chung is one of the most prominent political figures in Korea at the moment. Often referred to as a “sleeping dragon” of the conservative party in the Korean presidential elections, Dr Chung will talk about the challenge facing South Korea and its place in the future of East Asia.
