The Korean Information Centre is launched

Theatre for All’s ambitious project, the Korean Information Centre (KIC), has been set up to help the Korean community by increasing access to information and to promote integration.

Aim: To build a healthier and happier Korean community by transcending cultural barriers.

Objectives:

  • To integrate with the local community
  • To increase access to information
  • To empower the community
  • To fight against isolation
  • To provide language lessons

KIC also has two solicitors working for the centre. They can offer and address any issues related to Immigration Law in UK, Employment Law and any commercially related issues.

Open every Monday at the Kingston Environment Centre, 1 Kingston Road, New Malden, KT3 3QL, 10am – 4pm

There is a launch event Monday morning, 2 February, when coffee and refreshments will be served.

The Korean Information Centre is a partnership of Theatre for All, Kingston Environment Centre and the Metropolitan Police Service (Glenna De Bosco, Korean Engagement Officer). Theatre for All is supported by Kingston Council.
