Lockdown is beginning to ease, but we are now beginning to enter into the traditional summer lull in events. But it’s nice that there’s a special Korean day in York this month. Hope that is a huge success.

- The KCC’s online season of screenings Filming Against the Odds continues until 9 July
- A live screening of Samjin Company English Class takes place on 8 July at Screen on the Green
- Voice of Silence screens in Edinburgh on 1 July and Curzon Soho on 3 July

- The Soldiers of Gloucestershire host two talks on the Korean War, 3 and 31 July
- There’s an online discussion with Hong Eui-jung, director of Voice of Silence, on 4 July
- The last of Hyelim Kim’s Traditional Korean Music Workshops is on 22 July
- The RASKB’s talks this month are on Yi Pangja’s social welfare work (13 July), Ha Seongnan’s Bluebeard’s First Wife (22 July) and Korean banknotes (27 July)
