The British Korean Society, in collaboration with the National Army Museum, will hold an event on Thursday 5 May to show our appreciation of and to honour British veterans of the Korean War – and to hear something of their experiences.

The doors will open at 18.00 for a 18.30 start at the National Army Museum, Royal Hospital Road, London, SW3 4HT. After an introductory session chaired by Prof Michael Cullinane of the University of Roehampton, there will be opportunity for questions from the audience and further accounts from veterans, before a reception in the Museum.

Members and Patrons of the Museum and members of the British Korean Society are invited along with all British veterans. Given the limited space available for the in-person event, early registration is requested. Tickets for the event are available at a cost of £20 per person, unless you are a veteran, in which case there is no entry charge. In addition to free entry for veterans, assistance may be available for transport and accommodation costs, budget permitting. Please use the contact form or email listed below to arrange this.

The event will also be streamed live online, allowing an opportunity for those unable to attend to take part and hear from those at the museum. The weblink is Korean War Veterans Live Stream If you would like to attend the livestream, this is free of charge.

We greatly look forward to this opportunity to demonstrate that our veterans and the sacrifices of their comrades are not forgotten.

The British Korean Society would like to thank the National Lottery Heritage Fund for their generous support.
