About this event

The Korea Symposium takes place with London Hallyu Diversity 2025 in the UK in the background, focusing on UK engagement with the Business, Technology and Finance ecosystem in Korea — particularly through the framework of “Hallyu”. In this first ever Symposium, we bring together the London business community and representatives from Korean business and the country’s culture industry, to share insights from across both nations.

Hallyu, or “the Korean Wave” refers to the art, film, music and media culture surrounding modern South Korea. Heavily supported by the Korean government, this is accompanied by Korean businesses, who engage and work with and through this industry nationally and internationally: as sponsors, advertisers, products, and more.
