On Friday 31st October, join world-renowned Buddhist nun and chef Venerable Jeong Kwan for a rare, one-night-only dinner at CORD. The star of Netflix’s Chef’s Table will present an exclusive menu of spiritual Korean temple cuisine, marking a landmark moment for London’s plant-based dining scene.

At CORD, we celebrate culinary mastery in all its forms, from classical technique to innovative gastronomy. It is with this spirit that we are profoundly honoured to host Venerable Jeong Kwan. For one evening only on Friday 31st October at 6:30pm, Venerable Jeong Kwan brings her profoundly spiritual culinary art to CORD, presenting a multi-course dinner that celebrates centuries-old monastic tradition, a deep reverence for nature, and the mindful philosophy that has made her a global icon.

This exclusive dinner will take you on a restorative journey through Korean temple cuisine, from earthy, Jochung-glazed shiitake mushrooms to delicate seasonal vegetables and complex, house-fermented kimchi. Each course is prepared with pure intention and served with the grace of a master whose practice is as much spiritual as it is culinary.

To complete the experience, the dinner will conclude with a special fermented tea, designed to provide a moment of calm, perfectly embodying the principles of the meal.
