Join 4482 | Sasapari for an artist talk with Viviana Hayeong Jeon, a London-based multidisciplinary artist whose installation-based practice explores the affective density and perceptual instability of contemporary life.
Rooted in Eastern philosophy and feminist theory, Viviana investigates human vulnerability, fragmentation, and hybrid identity through tactile materials and recursive digital processes. Her work resists coherence and resolution, instead embracing rupture, distortion, and emotional ambiguity as integral parts of existence.
Working with clay, glaze, silicone, fabric, and 3D scans, she creates sculptural installations that move fluidly between the physical and the digital. Her abstract, layered forms hold emotional residue, allowing space for multiple ways of being—fragmented yet whole, vulnerable yet resilient.
Through this talk, Viviana will share insights into her material thinking and conceptual framework, inviting viewers to reflect on how identity and perception are shaped, broken, and remade in the contemporary world.
Please kindly RSVP by 29 October 2025 to secure your place for this artist talk.
