A sad loss to London’s Korean scene, The Old Justice pub in Bermondsey closed a few weeks ago. It was an unlikely Korean restaurant in a homely South London boozer immortalised in Paul McCartney’s ‘London Town’ video. I’ve heard Mr Kim is planning on opening another place in the City.
And of course all the Korean restaurants in St Giles’s High Street have closed because of the Crossrail redevelopment.
Assa’s Soho branch is still open, and Woo Jung moved to the basement of the relocated Centrepoint Store on New Oxford St.

I saw the new address of Old Justice. I scribbled it down at the time but I cannot find it any more. Any idea where it is moved to? I remember it was close to monument
Stay tuned – I hope to be reporting from the new venue over the weekend ^_^
Here it is:

Hello Philip, your posting had me watching Paul McCartney’s old ‘London Town’ video very closely for a glimpse of the Old Justice, but I didn’t see it in there. I believe I found it in Paul McCartney’s ‘No More Lonely Nights’ in ‘Give My Regards to Broad Street.’ 🙂
Thanks for your diligence! I searched for it on YouTube, and here it is, though I think the sign has changed over the years:
