The London Book Fair comes to Edinburgh:
Edinburgh Reads with Kim Insuk and Han Kang
Thursday 10 April, 19.00-20.00
Edinburgh Libraries are delighted to welcome Korean writers Kim Insuk and Han Kang, and Scottish writer Karen Campbell to our Edinburgh Reads programme. Kim Insuk is unique amongst Korean writers as her works often centre on Korean families and individuals living outside of Korea. Han Kang is a new voice on the Korean literary scene whose writings explore how individuals respond to a rapidly changing contemporary society. Karen Campbell has recently written This is Where I Am, the story of a friendship between a Somali refugee and Glaswegian woman. Chaired by Serena Field, Radio Producer at BBC Radio Scotland.
