Presenters

Dr Danica Salazar, World English Executive Editor, Oxford University Press

Dr Danica Salazar is World English Executive Editor for Oxford Languages, where she leads editorial projects for world varieties of English, as well as researches and writes World English entries for the Oxford English Dictionary. She publishes and lectures regularly on lexicography, phraseology, World Englishes and Spanish- and English-language teaching. Dr Salazar is the author of Lexical Bundles in Native and Non-native Scientific Writing (2014), co-editor of Biomedical English: A Corpus-based Approach (2013), and co-author of several language textbooks for learners of Spanish.

Danica Salazar 박사는 Oxford Languages에서 글로벌 영어(world English)의 편집장으로 전 세계에서 사용되는 다양한 영어의 편집 프로젝트를 이끌고 있으며 Oxford English Dictionary에서 글로벌 영어(world English)의 단어항목을 연구 및 집필하고 있습니다. 개인적으로 사전편찬, 어법, 글로벌 영어(world Englishes), 스페인어 및 영어 교육에 관해 정기적으로 출판하고 강의하고 있는 Salazar 박사는 Lexical Bundles in Native and Non-native Scientific Writing(2014)의 저자이며 Biomedical English: A Corpus-based Approach(2013)의 공동 편집자입니다. 그 외에도 스페인어 학습자를 위한 여러 언어 교재의 공동 저자로서도 활동하고 있습니다.

Elinor Hawkes, Product Manager (Academic), Oxford Languages

Elinor Hawkes was born and raised in Preston, Lancashire. After studying Music as an undergraduate, she then gained a Masters in Archives and Records Management and worked as an archivist for several years, holding posts at the Bodleian Library and the London School of Economics. Specializing in digitization and digital archives, she then worked for Gale, a Cengage company as Product Editor before joining OUP in 2017 as Business Analyst. In 2021 she joined Oxford Languages as Product Manager for the Oxford English Dictionary and Oxford Dictionaries Premium.

Elinor Hawkes는 Lancashire의 Preston에서 태어나고 자랐습니다. 학부에서 음악을 전공하였고 기록물 보관 및 관리분야에서 석사학위를 취득하였습니다. 보들리언 도서관(Bodleian Library)과 런던 경제 학교(London School of Economics)의 기록물 보관소에서 수년 동안 근무하였고 이 후 디지털화 및 디지털 아카이브의 전문가로서 Cengage, Gale의 Product Editor로 근무하였습니다. 그리고 2017년 저희 옥스포드 대학출판부의 Business Analyst로 활동하다가 2021년 저희 Oxford English dictionary와 Oxford Dictionaries Premium의 Product Manager로 Oxford Language team에 합류하게 되었습니다.

Won Jung, Product Executive – Academic, Korea, Oxford University Press

Since joining OUP in 2009 as a manager for South Korea, Won has been involved in promoting Oxford Journals and online products for the past 15 years in line with OUP’s mission, furthering Oxford University’s objective of excellence in research, scholarship, and education by publishing worldwide. Proactively communicating with the consortium, member librarians, and end-users, he is always pursuing business success and growth based on product performance.
