The 7th Kimjang Festival – Make Kimchi and Experience Kimjang! invites everyone to celebrate one of Korea’s most cherished traditions: Kimjang, the communal making and sharing of kimchi.

Experience and share the true spirit of Kimjang with Chef Cindy Robert of Korean Pantry — a kimchi maker for Selfridges — and Global Kimchi Ambassador Justina Jang, appointed by aT (Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation) and WIKIM (World Institute of Kimchi). Together, they’ll guide you through an authentic, hands-on kimchi-making session that captures the essence of Korean culture, community, and flavour.

Beyond kimchi-making, enjoy a full day of Korean food, traditional games, and Hanbok experiences, join a KPOP sing-along and dance workshop, and browse the Korean Christmas Market — perfect for last-minute holiday shopping!

Whether you’re a kimchi enthusiast or new to Korean culture, this festival offers a warm, flavourful, and unforgettable way to connect, learn, and celebrate — right here in New Malden, the heart of the UK’s Korean community.
